Is it normal to drool during sex?

My partner came over last night and I noticed that he was drooling during sex. Does that normally happen during sex? What would cause that reaction?

Not normal. Maybe he has a sinus issue and is leaving his mouth open to breath. Thus he isn't automatically swallowing saliva.

He might get so wrapped up in having sex he just forgets to swallow.
