Why would he change his display picture because of me?

Me and hin had chatted on instgram for months. He hadn’t gone out or anything.
I told him that I might have seen him recently in public wearing black beanie. I told him that I wasn’t sure if it was him or not. He then said that it was probably him.
The next day he changes his display picture to him wearing a black beanie. Before that he had his earlier pic for over a year.

Why would a guy do that?

I see what you're getting at, so let me ask YOU a question. Why tell him you think you might of seen him in town?

Because I’m interested in him and I wanted to take things from online to real life. I wanted to let him know that’s easy for us to meet since we live in the same city.

Which leads me to the more important question (I did actually know that)
Why not just tell him outright you would like to meet up?

Because as a guy if he was interested he would’ve done that himself…or that’s what I believe.

This takes me right back to the beginning. He would of done that too if he was just being a friend. Guys are slow on the uptake sometimes. If you really want to meet up with him. His putting that photo up was not the definitive yes or no.. It could just as easily be either. He might not even have a clue you want to meet up.
