What does it mean when a guy is currently using emojis that he never used before?

I have this guy friend, we are virtually friends so we met through internet. In facebook to be exact. And then we get along. And then, after a few months I noticed that he's also using my emojis that I always used!!! And I checked his social media accounts to see if there's any post of him that is using the same emojis as I am. I just wanna know what does it mean.
