Some men do, some men don't. If I had to put a number to it I would say around two thirds of men I know like pale women.

Well it sounds like you've got that natural ginger look to you, with personally I prefer over tan but That's just me. I would say embrace it, where your pale skin in your red hair is a badge of honor because you got something other people can't do without faking it

Because popular media tells us we should be. Tan is associated with healthy, sports oriented, cheerleader stereotypes. Pale is more like... A homebody, the unfortunate introvert, for men the straight up nerd

Not all men do. The ones who do, are usually white or of European ancestry, so their beauty standards are Eurocentric. Or they are people of color that have been brainwashed by social media and Hollywood movies.
