Guys, do you call your girlfriend “princess” as a way to calm her down or as a compliment?

My boyfriend called me this morning and I was very upset with him and confrontational. Till he started calling me “princess” (which did put a smile on my face 🥰).

So guys, have you ever called your girlfriend “princess” as a sincere compliment or to calm her down?

Both; the moniker is situational and is completely relative to its intended use in the moment (i. e. it depends on how she is acting and how I am feeling and what happened that made me call her that). In most cases, it isn't a general title I, or most men use towards our significant other, but instead reserve mainly for our daughters/neices. Hope this helps.
