Well that’s odd then,

Usually when I’ve used it, it’s means leave something for me, this could be girls, could be food such as pizza etc.
as in don’t eat all the damn buffet please lol.

So yeah it is a saying but it’s use there seems to be out of context.

It’s usually ‘ don’t eat all the cookies’ or ‘can I eat your cookies’
