Father in all seriousness no I don't think women are made and should just clean the house on their own

I feel like both people in a couple should contribute so if the man is working then yeah cleaning the house is a reasonable request unless you're sick since if a man is sick he's probably not going to work so if you're sick you probably shouldn't go cleaning the house and in that case that makes sense he should clean the house for you and if he's sick you should take care of him just a nice reasonable thing

If both of you have jobs then I think both of you should clean the house because by that point you know if one of you is working in the other one isn't then cleaning the house is a perfect way to contribute but if both of you are working then both of you should clean the house because otherwise it's not fair and in this case here my preferred method would just be "okay everyday I will clean the bathroom, the kitchen and the hallways you can clean the living room and the bedroom" because hallways are generally smaller than living rooms and bedrooms and kitchens generally aren't super big so to make up for it he should do three rooms to make the overall ground coverage of area you are cleaning reasonable

Or maybe you might go oh the bathroom is nasty and both of you think the bathroom is nasty then whoever gets the bathroom clean less overall because they're doing the job no one wants to do which can be reasonable and some people might find it that way I would support that idea and would totally understand it like if she was like oh I'm cleaning the bathroom and I don't like it so I should have less work to do then yeah I totally get behind that that's fine

Point is it doesn't matter who's cleaning the house as long as it's fair and what is or is not fair should be decided by the couple because some people have a harder time cleaning gross things than other people and in which case that might be in some ways more difficult than cleaning a larger but less disgusting place so I could totally see where people are coming from if they're like oh hey since I'm cleaning the bathroom you do more overall coverage because I'm doing something I have a hard time doing that's reasonable not the route I would want to go down but I would go down it if the person I am with wants to go down that route they'd still have to be reasonable with me but I get it

Since most males work more gruelling jobs and longer hours... I assume that the ones who don’t do a lot of household stuff feel they shouldn’t have to come home from a 13 hour back breaking job and do more work. When his female has likely worked a 7.5 hour cushy office job all day.
