For me makeup makes a difference when you initially meet someone or on a first date as it shows they put in effort just like dressing well and wanting to look good. But really makeup is more about her feeling confident than a requirement for me. I still appreciate the effort if we are going to a big event but I would get used to seeing her without it if we can hang a lot.
