This question will probably seem naive, forgive me. I want to start seeing this guy, and he seems super sweet but because of past experiences I can’t tell exactly if he’s playing me or not. I’ve been told he has like zero confidence with women (my best guy friend set us up) but he’s apparently had his eye on me for a bit, vetted me and my Instagram 💀😂 to both his best girl and guy friends. He has also openly called me a 12/10. And he’s snapped me constantly wish me good morning beautiful, and goodnight gorgeous, and will occasionally give me random compliments. He also is very consistent with snap chatting me, like to the point where I wonder how I’m not bothering this guy.

I’m just worried I am going to get a rude awakening because his teammates can be players… but I have be assured he’s the nicest out of all of them on the team…

He knows I’m looking for a boyfriend, and I just wanted to ask y’all about how this behavior comes across?

The gorgeous this and that COULD be his team mate's influence on him, but he could also just be speaking his mind..
Would I be right in thinking you aren't too interested in all the compliments, and you just want a guy to treat you right?
If so, tell him.. he doesn't need to stick you on a pedestal.. Just treat you how he would like to be treated himself.

Yes!! Exactly that. I had an horribly abusive relationship in the past and not to be cynical but it’s just turned me off to compliments like nearly completely. I appreciate your advice, thank you!!
