Why do some black guys ask me ‘so are you into black guys or white guys’ as if I have it have one choice? can I not like whoever or both?

Depends on the guy and personality and if he’s attractive obviously. Don’t really care about race (I’m white if makes a diff) but one guy who happens to be black and many other guys I’m talking it on dating apps (I talk to both white, mixed and Asian everyone lol) they ask if I like black guys as if it’s something to be into like fit guys or something

It gives them a lot more info than you may initially realise, obvs if you say your not then they know they havnt got much of a chance, if you lean into it and say you prefer black guys then they might think they have a chance.

Also you being white is probably a large part of it. I know lots of white girls who couldn’t see themselves with a black guy and a lot of black girls who couldn’t see themselves with a white guy. Asking is just them feeling out what kind of a playing field they’re on and I wouldn’t take it personally

They probably want to know if they've got a chance, so they don't waste their time; there are a surprising amount of people who won't date outside their race. I suspect it's more common among women, not because they're necessarily more racist, but because a black man going after a non-black woman is seen as "preying" on her.

It does- but it's not hard to mistake innocent friendliness for flirting sometimes. Men and women don't understand one another very well, and making that mistake is pretty common.

If you’re flirting with him then I don’t know why he would ask such a question unless he thinks you’re a tease but he is probably is just making sure. I also go out with any race but unsure about some women so it’s good to find out first

It's because women's opinions on black men are polarized. Some (white women) are so obsessed with black men they'd let one piss in their mouth, but others (like Asian girls) are not so impressed by black men.
