Guys, why do you stay up late after your wife goes to bed?

So why is it that some guys stay up after their wife goes to bed? What do most of ya do? We have 2 kids and sometimes he will stay up way late like 4am. I think it’s because he is able to just chill without any noise lol.

My husband and I are just on two completely different work schedules. He has to wake up at 5:30am every morning for work, so he will usually go to bed early.
but I work night shifts most of the time where I’m not getting home until 11pm or 12am. Then after work I’m wired so I can’t fall asleep right away. I’m usually up till 2 or 3 in the morning
And being up late at night is the little bit of ‘alone’ time I have. 😅

Because when you say you’ve hard a hard day I’m still up figuring some things out. What needs to be paid, how to take care of things that come up. It gives me time to think. I may play some video games, work on some projects, clean up, take out the trash, eat something.

In my relationship I'm the one that stays up all night long. My husband acts like a old man will go to bed like 10-11 😂

We go to bed at the same time. On rare occasions he will go grab a snack to bring back if he's hungry enough.
