There’s a guy he is being teased by name cause I joined my university late and he did not have any crush so his friends started teasing him continued?

- with my name and no he just doesn’t even come near me coz his friends tease him but like I like him and I go the the library at night so he Like comes to see who all are there in the library everyday with his friend and whenever his friend sees me he teases him with my name but like he tries not to smile or like one day he just jumped and all of a sudden broke a branch of a tree in front of us but when I messaged him happy birthday he just replied it with thanks so what does that mean?

Even on his birthday they put a ship name of us on his cake and one day him and his friends were dancing so I just went to see and he just stopped dancing and went inside

I think honestly he’s really pissed by all this teasing. He’s just trying to live a normal life, maybe you could even be friends if it wouldn’t be for his stupid friends.
Maybe he expressed with them a sympathy for you and they were so stupid to tease him for that… are you sure you go to college and not to elementary school? Seeing his friends behaviour seems like that.
