Small-Boned Guys?

How do you feel about small-boned guys. I'm 5'11" and appear to be really skinny because I'm quite small-boned (particularly wrists and ankles). I'm not actually any skinnier than the next guy, but I just have a small build. I don't get much attention from girls, especially ones my age and I am am very insecure about this issue. So, honestly, is this something girls notice or care about when it comes to attraction?

You are completely incorrect grenn126. Humans absolutely do have differences in bone thickness. Absolutely. I'm a BSN RN and have studied nutrition and exercise science for over 20 years. I am just like pezzonovante88. I'm 38 years old but the only women who are attracted to me are 20-24 because they think I'm their age! The only time I garner attention from women my age is when I'm fat and bloated due to over eating and trying to bulk (which I gave up a few years back), or when I add more circumference and thickness of muscle. Every year I gain more attention from women as I get incrementally bigger via strength training. But overall I look like I could be in high school honestly. I'm 6'1" about 200 lbs and 15% bodyfat with a nice layer of muscle, I still look extremely young due to my thin face and medium head, small wrists and ankles. I have an overall Med-Lg build and all clothes sizing on me is that exactly. Not large and not small and that projects in the real world environment as I don't look like a full grown man.

It's so hard to deal with this as I used to be able to meet women so easily in my 20s and since my separation 5 years ago I can't seem to meet anyone worthwhile above the age of 23! Sounds like a good thing for a man, but it's the fact that women subconsciously look for the features of a "man" that hurts. I feel like I'm invisible and it will get worse in the next decade. I know I will get bigger, muscle-wise, but will I be able to find someone of value and meaning?

And I will not "settle", forget that. That is NOT happiness. Sometimes I think I should just be really fat, because at least then I'll look large and fill out clothes like a "man" does. I'm working as hard as I can to make more money than ever too. So that if a woman chooses to date me, then at least I'm more attractive in that perspective. And I AM indeed really good-looking. I have no problem having women look at me, it's just that they think I'm a young kid and don't take me seriously

There is no real think such as "small-boned" or "big-boned". Just saying.

You are thin. Just say it. It is not a bad thing nor is it a good think. Be happy with who you are and people will like you because you are you and you are not making excuses like "it runs in the family" or whatever. That is just an excuse that will make you feel better with being the way you are. just let it go and be content with your body the way it is. And if you don't like it do something about it. If you really want to change something you can. Anything is possible. I promise.

I would usually go for a bigger boned man because I wouldn't like weighing around the same as him. If he has a great personality I would overlook it. You can gain some muscle weight if you feel insecure, it won't help making those part bigger, but at least you'd look bigger. Otherwise, you're cute :P so, w.e don't really mind it, it's nothing as long as you can make her feel safe.

personally, I feel kinda masculine when I hang out with a guy that is "smaller" than myself, and that is not the best feeling. sometimes I even feel fat in company of a guy that is "smaller" than myself. lol!

but if you have a great personality; someone funny and out-going, I wouldn't care about your size :)

It may matter to some and others may not care about it, I guess it just depends on preference. I don't think it is a big deal. You are a pretty nice height, so I am sure that is a plus for girls that like tall guys:)

I usually go for average sized guys since I don't feel comfortable dating a guy that is skinnier that me.
