What is the difference between calling a girl hot, cute, lovely, sexy, and gorgeous?

Hello, so a guy I like keeps calling me sweet and cute all the time. Some other guys call me sexy and hot. What does it mean when guys use all of these varieties of words when describing women.

Cute = more personality based, but they also are telling you that you are really fun to be around, very cute obviously, and pulling on their heartstrings

pretty = They think you look super good and pretty, pretty much just looks

sexy = they think you are very sexy looks wise and with how you act

hot = they think you are very hot and they get turned on from you

sexy and hot mean lots of the same things but sexy is a lot more intimate and stronger in my opinion

gorgeous = they are being a gentlemen but calling you hot and pretty at the same time. Romantic

Lovely = I don't know never used this

sweet = basically cute but more gentlemanly but also can mean they appreciate your efforts

In no way are these the only meanings or uses but this is how I use them basically and how I think generally they are used

Some are more physical and body-related, while others are more about your personality and how you make them feel. You do the same, just check your own feelings when calling something cute.

sexy- you look like his fav pornstar def wants to fuck but marrying isn’t really on his mind

cute - He could totally see you both together and for some reason can’t stop staring at your face.

gorgeous- he’s gay and is trying to be nice

lovely - your old. you are definitely way out of his age group. It’s what he tells his grandma 👵

This is pretty close. Although I could totally use lovely to describe a personality of someone I do fancy too, if it happened to fit. But its a personality thing, not really an attraction thing.

i think hot/sexy is more body based or like finds you attractive

lovely/beautiful is face/personality based

cute just feels like they see you in a sweet sister light

I'm not aware of any differences. I believe it comes down to a particular guys linguistic preferences.

For me personally they all describe the same thing but some are more polite and less direct than others and sometimes they are used just for the sake of variety ☺️

Usually when a Guy calls you Cute or Sweet he likes your Personality and when someone calls you Sexy or Gorgeous they mean you look Good.
