Guys: As a guy, if you had a crush on someone, how would you act around them?

I'm still shy despite my age so you'd notice me go from extro to intro in your presense. Right now I am addressing this issue aggressively though so you'd also notice me making assertive moves like making my way over where you are just to talk. Or holding eyecontact a bit longer than for just affirmation of greeting and then start up conversation.
And then like on/off switch I've been overthinking and gone back to a low-self-esteem "wtf am I doing, can I trust intuition"-vibe. Then I snap out of it and gonin balls deep again.

Make no mistake I do look the fool. But as I see it, this is how to numb it out.

Nervous, awkward, forgetful, exchanging glances, being drawn to you but scared of you. It depends on how much we know and trust you; if you're our friend and banter with us we'd be more likely to want to chat, joke, and generally be around you.

Back when I was younger, I'd try to hang out around her, and try to wmter her friend group. I was a littlw creepy and I didn't know how to handle it.
These days, if I like someone, I'll approach, ask you out, and hope for the best. If she says no, I'll take the loss and move on.
Being honest, upfront and communicative is for the best I have learnt.

I would look for opportunities to make something out of it. So either I get it or I will lose my interest. So the crush period is short. And as an adult I don't think I would have one. Since I don't have a life where people can enter my life that way.

Having a crush on someone means they usually are at the top of your priority list so to speak. We will go out of our way for you more, strike up conversation more, position ourselves near you a lot of the time, and try to be funny more.
We will glance at them a lot too.

I’m an older guy so I would have introduced myself, small talk, maybe a joke, feel the Vibe, and ask you out on the spot. I use to be shy up to 20-22. No secret formula or list 🤷🏻‍♂️
