Guys, why do some of you think girls can't be gamers (only people who think this answer) ?

I have a few girl friends I play games with. I will say all of them suck even though they play a lot. There are a few good players that are girls, but most suck. And I don't really consider you a true gamer unless you can play at a higher level. You're just a casual gamer.

Most of them don't have the same competitive nature, which makes them worse by far on average. The ones that are good are good though... mmph.

All that being said being a "gamer" doesn't mean you have to be GOOD at games, only that you play. My wife isn't great, but she's not bad and we have plenty of games we enjoy playing together and it's amazing.
