I would reply politely that I am currently in a relationship and have no interest in meeting new people. That is just me personally and has nothing to do with the guy.

Im engaged, so it is pretty obvious that I would not be interested in meeting other guys, no matter how attractive they are. Now, I would also assume the guy that messaged me would not have known that I was engaged.

So, no harm in the message as he clearly wouldn’t be aware. That said, I still would be polite about it. I would also not just ignore. When you ignore those types of messages, some guys (and girls) just get more persistent for a reply and keep sending DMs.

That is why best to just reply and decline the invitation instead of ignore and give a false sense of hope.
