Guy is always nervous around me, why?

There is a guy at work who seems to be kind of outgoing with everyone but me.

he talks normal to other girls but when I'm around him he gets really nervous. I can tell he gets nervous because he is really obvious with his body language and facial expressions.

i even asked him twice on different days why he gets nervous. The first time i asked him that he just looked at me without saying anything with a “deer in headlight moment” and i just smiled at him waiting for an answer.

the second time when i asked him that, he said “i dont know why i get nervous”. i dropped a hint at him by asking him if he has a girlfriend, but i think he didn't realize that i was hitting on him.

why is he so nervous?

We all have an energy with inside of us and when we connect with somebody we have a feeling that rushes to us this used to happen to me when I was a teenager or when I was in school girls would start yelling my name and want to talk to me waving me over I would want to run and I mean run fast I did not want to talk to them because my mouth would get dry I would start sweating my face would turn red because I would get this feeling rushing through my body It Was a Very sensual sexual type of feeling and I never understood it until one day the feeling that I was feeling was not me I was feeling them I'm an empath and I can feel people's energy and emotion and when this happens I mean I can feel what they're feeling at that moment that's why I can't walk into a hospital because I get sick I feel ill I want to throw up my body hurts this could be the same thing going on with him it's not a bad thing it's actually a very cool thing in a lot of different ways I wish I would have known back then but I know now because for a long time it made me go crazy in a roundabout way because I did not want to feel that and I did not understand what was really happening now that I do it's a whole different world for me but I had to go through a period that I did not like and I tried everything to numb that feeling out to make it stop but once I understood what was going on I welcomed it and it's kind of funny sometimes now you have that same capability as he does we all do and more and more people are finding this out and there's a reason for it

Sounds like he has a crush on you or finds you really attractive, that's the only reason a guy would get nervous like this.

If he is interested why doesn't he talk that much? I dropped a hint by asking if he has a girlfriend

Guys don't always see questions like that as a sign of interest, more so just curiosity. He probably doesn't think you are attracted to him or like him, thus why he is more reserved.

Hm i see.

Well today while i was talking to him I tried to be more direct and put my hand on his tummy while we were standing and got close to him. I did this while no one else was around so he wouldn't be embarrassed or something.

He froze up and looked down and then leaned a bit away so my hand didn't touch him anymore. I put my hand back on his abdomen though, because i think he was just nervous and not disinterested.

Was that an obvious hint from my side that i like him?

Yes its definitely a hint that your interested although it may take a few more hints before he is sure

I'm not a touchy person, but I notice some women do this, and not for flirting, like married women who are just really touchy.
He will sew it as a possible sign, but will probably look for other signs before proceeding.

Hm alright, but i dont think touching someone’s tummy is normal.

I agree, It would not be a normal behaviour from a girl, I'm not even sure how you ended up touching his tummy. Like maybe an arm or leg, but tummy is quite invasive.

I first touched and grabbed his upper arm and he didn't seem to mind it, so i upped it and touched his belly.

if yes, then you should stop that. he might be confused about what to do/say.

if this is not the case then you should smile more at him, i hope he'll smile back.
i think that he probably likes you back, but is a bit afraid.
just give him a good smile everyday, have some small talks like "good morning/night, had meal?, how's your day?, how are you?" etc.
he'll definitely feel good!

No i dont stare at him, i just look normally.

His behavior is a bit confusing, but i think it’s because he is just inexperienced and doesn't know what to do.

Me asking if he has a girlfriend shows that I’m curious about whether he is available for dating or not.

That’s one of the reasons i like it, it’s cute. So many guys out there try to be smooth talkers that this behavior is nice to see.

But tbh i also wish he was a bit more bold.
