It’s like I can’t find a guy who wants something serious. There has been a time I told a guy that I wanted something serious. He said he was okay with it and was trying to get to know me. So we went out a few times and then I guess he got what he wanted and didn’t hear from him. I’m about to give up on texting anyone. I just want someone who truthful and wants something serious. Any tips would help!

I'd suggest you plan a new strategy when it comes to future dating, follow a strict set of rules and you should see a difference.

Couple of Examples

1. Make it clear on date 1, 2 & 3 that you are only seeking a relationship, not a hookup situation or friends with Benefits situation, even text that.

2. No sex for first 3-4 dates/weeks, any guy who genuinely likes you will happily wait and be happy getting to know you. It might not be easy, but it works.

3. Insist upon meeting his friends or family early on or bring the subject up. Gauge his reaction.

It's partially because of your age, but another problem might be the way you're meeting men and trying to connect with them. How much of yourself do you show to men on dates? Do you talk about your hobbies, beliefs, and things like that?
