Cellulite isn't a desired thing, and some guys care more than others, but I'm guessing very few seek it out, if you know what I'm saying.

For some (most?) people, things like this are not deal breakers. It's just something small that of course most people would choose not to have cellulite over having it. But like picking out bananas at the grocer; you're not going to find a completely unblemished bunch of bananas, you just pick the one the looks best to you.

And as for guys and girls and relationships, if there's other parts of the relationship that are good, some cellulite is going to matter less and less if the other aspects are there.

Nope. It is common. The exact cause of cellulite is unknown, but it appears to result from an interaction between the connective tissue in the dermatological layer that lies below the surface of the skin, and the layer of fat that is just below it.

In women, the fat cells and connective tissue in this layer are arranged vertically.

If the fat cells protrude into the layer of skin, this gives the appearance of cellulite.

In men, the tissue has a criss-cross structure, which may explain why men are less likely to have cellulite than women.
