Are they jealous?

I recently passed my first interview with a FAANG company and I mentioned it to two of my exs, one of them is my friend still and the other had recently contacted me to ask how I was doing. I eventually ended up mentioning it to both but both didn’t seem too enthused about it. One reacted and didn’t even reply. The other simply asked if I got the job yet. Why are they like this?

Because they are your ex? Maybe they simply don't care enough about you anymore to even reply, I know I wouldn't.

Interesting. You're probably right, they don't care. However, they both keep bothering me... I think you just uncovered to me that they're both just here to get something out of me.

So I don't know, if they still trying to get your attention and didn't react to that, it would be strange.

the one guy just keep talking about how he regrets how things ended. the other guy, the "friend", we share a class together so he always updates me on class stuff. sometimes he tries to get me to come over but I always say no lol

Perhaps they are waiting to see the overall outcome before commenting further, nervous about celebrating too early.
I'm guessing you find this process more exciting than them. (Not that you shouldn't).
