My boyfriend started to share with me what his friends say about me

He never did it before... why now?

Sruff like:they said im lucky... he thinks you are beautiful, he called fine young lady, he said you are very pretty,"Matt, the one who told me i have a beautiful woman"... etc

I mean why? dont men get angry when their girl gets attention from other?
