Why are guys supposed to like models?

The gist of it is that fashion, traditionally, is about looking good. Good looks would make you more attractive. And so fashion in a sense is the art of making people attracted towards you. A model as a medium for that would of course be someone who is either easy to make attractive or is already near the top. As such for this part of fashion to be valid guys should like models, or it would be proof iy isn't working.

Of course a lot of fashion now is no longer about attractive but just causing a reaction, any reaction. So we might be moving away frol the whole models equal attractive.

Well, I was going more for saying it has gone from art with a purpose to art with any purpose. But sometimes that does look like trolling.

Because more often than not, models tend to be conventionally attractive and pleasing to look at. Humans are wired to spend more time looking at attractive people than at average people that you would come across in your day-to-day life.
