This is a fine example of how pov and context matters lol.
In other words women are behind successful men the whole meaning changes but still stands true for itself.

Trending & News I'm pretty sure, having a woman is a byproduct of a man's success not the reason behind his success.
I haven't heard of any real life instances where a woman stood by a man's side while he was at his lowest point i. e. an unattractive broke loser and turned him into an attractive rich winner whether through encouragement, belief or whatever means necessary.
on the flip side, I've seen fit handsome dudes help and support their overweight girlfriend through her weight loss journey and making her more attractive in the process.
The fact that the statement uses an absolute makes it childishly easy to overcome. It’s obviously not true.
A cursory history lesson might be in order though. This actually isn’t something women started saying to inflate their value. It started with opponents of women’s liberation. The idea was that if we could convince women to take pride in their contributions to their husbands’ accomplishments that they would feel less inclined to go out and do similar things for themselves. Ell oh ell!
I know a few men with very supportive wives who give their women plenty of credit. Most men i know date and marry their equals. So if you look at this quote from the other side, it could just as easily and accurately be said that behind every successful woman is a strong man.
Ever wonder why that’s not said, ever?
Haha!
Strongly disagree. I’m a woman and even though I would support my partner in achieving their dreams, I would NEVER take the credit for it. If it was not for him and his hard work and dedication, he would not have had done it.
Behind every successful person is a supportive family and friend (s).
Are you from Calcutta?
Nope. Why do you ask?
I think men give credit to the woman because the woman may have helped him in ways he didn’t know. She could have helped him focus, helped him through tough times and been in his corner when he wanted to give up. It’s okay to give a woman credit bc she was there with him through it all.. having someone who believes in you makes a big difference
@Chelsdope0 Never said it isn’t okay. But personally, I wouldn’t really take credit for anyone’s achievements. Gender doesn’t matter.
I didn’t agree or disagree with you I just made a statement.
I don’t think you take credit but you can accept that you did play a role in who he has become.
@Chelsdope0 Of course, agree with that :)
yes. it is true.
Believe it or not, it also tends to be the same for successful females.
Its hard to find a female doctor who is still single.

If you look at most CEO's or Men of importance.. they are all married. So there ya go.
Pretty true, yeah. It's not always true though.
Any successful person ! There has been days, months, years or hard work, sweat and tears until they got there. If it's a man or a woman, both worked their hardest until they reached that point and did even more after it. You are not successful just because you haver a partner, that is total BS.
Behind every successful person there is strugle
Exactly 👆
Actually the complete opposite.
Nicola Tesla once said: “No truly successful man has ever become successful while with a woman.”
women generally stifle mens ideas and motivation. They think their ideas are stupid. They don’t like the time required by the guy to become successful. They want his attention and hate when a guy focuses on things other than her.
Do women wait at the finish line looking for the successful guy so she can reap the benefits of his hard work and success… yup. Once she is done with all the douchebags and losers.
Yeah. A maid. Sometimes wives, but that's rare. You can give a maid a list of things to take care of, and get rid of her if she doesn't do the job. Once you put a ring on a woman's finger, she thinks taking care of things for her husband is beneath her and you can't get rid of her without paying her anyway.
behind every successful man, there is a woman trying to take everything she can from him
The quote I heard was " Behind every successful man there's a woman telling him he's wrong." LOL
I think so, sometimes. I work around doctors and nurses and usually a lot of them are married to someone within field or has another good paying career.
Absolutely not. In fact, I would say, men who have just recently become successful, are more to have had less experience in their past for attracting women.
In order for someone to win, someone else has to lose... Someone always gets left "behind" in the dust.
Not every man. But those who have a partner, why would they pick one littered with red flags? I think someone who is succesful knows to avoid all of those and they should.
I mean I got successful after I got single from ltr. And then after I was well on it then I got the next ltr. So I think women are just a pita and aren't that helpful tbh. At least most of the ones I ever met.
@Haha456 well lucky you. I wasn't.
It would be closer to reality to say something like: behind every deeply depressed man there is a woman.
Behind every suicidal man there is a woman.
There's nobody else behind my success. Maybe the few people that inspired me during my life, but no more support than that.
Behind every successful man is a woman who is nagging him constantly to make even more money and is also cheating on him and preparing to take as much of his money as she can in the divorce.
No. Women typically wait at the finish lines for the winner. Most men that are hugly successful become successful foirt then find the women.
More like behind every broken shell of a man thiers an x wife who stole his house , his money and most devastatingly his kids
Sorry uou went that through that
Nope , I've never been stupid enough to get married. Just a cursory glance over the risk reward ratio will deter any man with a brain
Behind every good man there is a great mother
Only if the woman was there before the success.
Yes.
If he could keep his has off the young girls
I believe every successful man, there is a man and woman behind.
Maybe it’s more accurate to say “ALONGSIDE” every successful man, there is a woman.
That is usually true.
Nope. Elton John doesn't need a woman.
Not just ANY woman. A special one
Yes, it she is his mother.
Nikola Tesla
There is a blessed one
No not true
