Does anything go through your mind (i. e., feel validated) when you meet an opposite sex person who has the same disposition as you?

Do you feel validated or feel at home around people of the opposite sex who have the same disposition as you, and therefore feel extra protective of those people? Does it cause you to be more physically attracted to them, or do you not even notice that they have similar dispositions to you, as it's not something overly important to you? Maybe it's more common with introverts, as we know how difficult life can be for us, that we really notice and appreciate when we meet people similar to us?

Yes! I feel comfortable with who I’m currently talking to because we are both introverts and I know silences between us aren’t an actual issue/ we both like our alone time. I also have learned they’re different dynamics of introverts. I’m a little bit more talkative / like being around people a little bit more than he does. There’s also troubles with planning things because we are both the kind of people that kind of latch onto other peoples plans.

I don't know about feeling validated, but it's cool when someone and I just click. We click because of common interests and/or values, and probably because of similar dispositions. But I never analyzed it. I just looked at it from the standpoint that I really liked the person and we got along really well.

it makes no difference to me... not within this context

my own "validation" does not really depend on others that might be or not be around me

which is why I'm very comfortable around most people and any kind of people, whether they're similar to me, or not...

I value ones ability to state a different opinion that is though provoking as far more attractive. I do however not like to discuss certain topics, as stating my belief which may be in rooted in logic, can upset a woman, whos belief tends to be rooted in their emotion.

My girlfriend has a personality and way of life similar to mine. We are both introverts to some extent. We were strongly attracted to each other and didn’t realize it at first, but it turned out to be true.
