Because for the last two decades boys have been told and taught to respect women way more than women have been taught to respect men. In today's world women act more like men, and men act more like women.

When I was young, a man was a man, and he was supposed to act like one, and women were women, and she was supposed to act like one. Men were supposed to provide, care for and protect their women. Even when your women were acting like a woman, it was okay because we cherished women, love them and respected her for all the good things they did for men. Because good women were supposed to act like a woman and do women things and a good man loved her for it.

But in today's world, women are empowered they do not want a man to care for them, provide for them, and protect them... that is until they find a man they like, then BAM!!! All of the sudden he is expected to act like a man and be a man, when for the last 20 years society and women have done all they can do to empower women and emasculate men.

All the traditions things men were expected to do, became taboo... women did not want men to do those things, and all the attention men would give to women because unwanted, or sexist, or some form of harassment. But that all fine and good for women, again until she finds a man she likes and then all of sudden he is supposed to act like a man, when society has taught him that being a real man is inappropriate.

Lack of father figures or male role models growing up. And raised by feminist mothers. Social media, too much internet and gaming, and porn addictions, also contribute to this.

Now I've NEVER once stated to be any kind of "Alpha Male" or whatever on here, but weak men lack any self-respect or dignity, and will let people walk all over them and never stick up for themselves. Weak men can lean left, like soy boys, or right, like incels.

You can generally spot a weak man if he's A) a Progressive (not just "liberal" but a straight-up male feminist, soy latte drinking SJW), B) talks too much about cats, C) does the open mouthed "soy face," D) is anti-guns and likewise E) would rather "call the police" or "run and hide" from danger, than protect his woman and children, or F) a simp who raises up women while putting down men and uses terms like "toxic masculinity" unironically.

Everyone, including and especially women, knows what a weak man is. And no one respects them. Weak men however, CHOOSE to be weak. Being afraid is one thing, but being weak is a choice. It's all in the mentality. You can either make a change, or stop worrying about something you can't change and move on from it. But if you don't do one or the other, you'll stay stuck in the same place you were yesterday, last year, or eight years ago.

most modern men are just comfortable and content with where they are. complacency often breeds weakness and this is case due to how "good" things are supposedly going in society. it's cyclic and things have to get worse first before they get better.

strong men create peaceful times. peaceful times create weak men. weak men create tough times. tough times create strong men.

then those men who want to become strong even when times are peaceful are often demonized and labeled as toxic by feminists and male feminists.

cancel culture has also made it so that they can't speak their own mind without any backlash even if what they're saying is true. then there's also self-hatred indoctrination where people are either a victim or an oppressor and neither is seen as a positive. real oppressors would use the victimhood status to gain immunity and real victims would derive from those accused of being the oppressor as nothing they do gets any merit.

Growing up in the 80's and 90's we didn't have quite as much technology, we played sports outside as kids and we were forced to work as teens when we weren't in school. It made a lot of us tough and strong.

I think these days some people spend a lot of time online (Like we are right now) and a sedentary lifestyle leads to obesity, health problems, and weak individuals.
