Only the nobility matter as far as people like that were concerned. Plenty of people are still like that. Funny how many people were granted sainthood for things like that. Of course, most of those story are straight poppycock lol So since they were made up or fancified, it's no wonder the writers often added stuff that kissed up to nobility.

Exactly, so it'd be pointless to not expect your audience to be nobility. So you'd be very positive toward, them not give too much commentary from a peasant perspective, and be sure to deal with things nobles value
