I am a bit confused about one part, but I will get to that. Fist bump is definitely a guy thing for sure. I don’t think any guy has ever done this to me now that I think about it. I have seen guys do it with each other.

Perhaps this is just his way of including you in the workgroup and trying to treat everyone the same. If so, I would just ignore it or ask them to stop if it really bothers you that much. Otherwise, I wouldn’t think to much of it.

First, you do not need to accept anything you don’t want. Second, if it is a crush, why would you not accept? I can think of one good reason. That is that you work together. Workplace relationships are never a good idea. At their best, they are a distraction between two people. At their worst, they disrupt the whole workplace. What if things go bad or you have a fight? Are you going to be able to function professionally around each other?

First bump can be misinterpreted and without context of you two interaction, we too could misinterpret. If your crush asked you out then go and stop overthinking the fun out of it.

Generally, someone not socialized or shy, who is simply trying to get a feel, will do this without grasping its meaning. Guys who have a little mileage knows that he is sending friend message.-That being said, sometimes though, we forget what we're doing and it becomes a greeting... especially during and post COVID. You know his general behaviors.
