Why do some men like it when you’re sweaty…. or wearing a hoodie, sweats vs dressing up

i know one guy flirted with me when I was dressed down. Sweats, hoodie or T-shirt … but when I dressed up … no reaction

Because you’re easier to approach when you don’t look your best vs. when you’re all dressed up, especially if you look different. It’s also the same flipped around that some men will only like you at your best. When you dress up you probably look too high maintenance for him.

Sexy and "attractive" can be different things. If I see a woman in a fancy party dress with nice hair and makeup I might think "wow she looks great!"

If I see a woman in tight cheap yoga pants without a bra, and she looks sweaty or out of breath, it might turn me on sexually just because of the connotations there. It's like a guy in a suit vs a shirtless guy with tattered jeans. They both might look good, but one might look like a piece of candy you want to eat.

Simple, some men don't find women attractive for their looks alone. Some prefer to focus on attitude/personality.

Others may simply like the casual look, and don't see the appeal of putting effort into an appearance that works just fine.
