Why would a guy who's comfortable touching me suddenly get nervous when I touch him?

So I just accidently put my hand on top of his I wasn't even looking properly and when I realized I saw him get kind of nervous and pull his hand from underneath mine after a few seconds. I didn't get it usually he's very comfortable touching me and is the one who finds excuses to do so.
