This guy I've been casually seeing (we are friends with benefits) hugged me and I felt him touch my ass while he was walking away, and he said see you later. I've never had a guy do this to me before.

I personally think someone touching my ass or your ass, could mean anything. It could mean they like you, or they taking the piss, it could mean they think of you as a sexual object. It your own perception to the situation.
