Do all guys love pale skin?

growing up people always criticised me for my skin being too brown for a north African, i used to not care and love it since there’s tons of pretty baddies lightskin that kinda have the same skin color as me but I don't know, recently it’s growing in my head because of my past relationships that any guy would leave me for a pale girl, even if it didn’t happen, I don't know anyway m sorry for the cringe question m literally so ashamed and can’t talk about this to anyone, especially not my bestfriend cause she’s very pale and i don’t want her to feel bad or scared, anyway😭

New research by Nina Jablonski and George Chaplin has led to the discovery that women generally produce 3-4% less melanin in their skin than do men in all populations of the world. They suggest that this is probably due to the fact that women have far higher calcium requirements during their reproductive years.

So women, tend to have paler skin than men. And that probably became attractive as humans evolved, in the same way that men are attracted to other feminine features like boobs, hips, butts and female fat distribution. It has to do with women's ability to bear and nurture healthy babies, although men are generally not conscious of that reason. It simply evolved into instinctive sexual attraction.

I'm not sure that all guys are attracted to pale skin, though. Some guys really love Mediterranean and even tropical skin tones, for example. Some guys are attracted to African skin. A beautiful woman is a beautiful woman, despite her skin tone.

Honestly, I think most guys do, but certainly not all. Appearance wise, skin color is also not the only factor. It's more about how you take care of your body, how you dress, how you present yourself to others.

Personally if I'm rating a girl's look out of 10, skin color would account for 2 points at the most.

Here in Geneva, Switzerland, people have a wide range of different skin colors and pale skin is not special, either. Beauty for me is not about the color.

By the way, in Central Europe it used to be popular to get tanned. Now people are more afraid of skin cancer and premature aging of the skin, but some still get a tan in summer.
