What's the one thing you guys hate doing?

Going to the DMV. Illinois makes this as miserable an experience as possible; my best buddy says it's to promote private ownership of nuclear weapons, because if you were to go in there and open up with a mere machine gun, they'd just yawn at you. And, being a CDL holder, I had to go to a different one, which is even LESS pleasant, and staffed by people who make no bones about their loathing of their victims.

Now, to be fair, I'm not IN Illinois anymore, and went I went in to get my license changed over, I went in filled with morbid dread... only to find it staffed by people who acted like human beings, and were polite and even respectful. When they say "you need to pieces of delivered mail", they MEAN "two pieces of delivered mail". No requiring it be from a government agency, then telling you that the DMV itself doesn't count as a government agency; no "this bank statement, that you got by going into your bank and asking for a statement, isn't a bank statement", no sending you back and forth between two people, each of whom says you need a form from the other, refusing to speak to each other, and going on break JUST before you reach them.

I AM nervous about what'll happen when I need to get my license renewed, but that's not for several years, since Florida ALSO issues them for twice as long.

I dont care about material things. They dont bring me any value and neither do they make me happier in any kind of way. The only thing I do care about is my car, because having a car is having freedom to go where ever you want whenever you want but other then that I don't give a damn about material objects
