Why did he send a pic of his boxers (not on him, on the floor)?

hi guys! this guy im friends w sent me a pic of his cat perched on the edge of the bathtub, he was about to get in and shower so the pic showed the cat looking up at him, and you could see one of his feet with his boxers around them. am i reading into this too much or did this mean something, the fact that he left his undies visible in the photo?
