Why are his kisses so long? Is this normal?

So a guy I’ve been dating kissed me for the first time last night. He came to mine to watch a movie and things got heated some time into the movie.

When he kissed me, though, he just kept going and going. Like, there was no end. I’d pull away a little after some time and he’d ask if I wanted him to stop. Is it normal for a guys kiss to feel endless? I’m only used to guys kissing intimate for some time before pulling away. This guy would keep going for hours if I let him.

He was a good kisser, but he didn’t leave me ‘wanting more’ because more is all I got. Is this a red flag?

Definitely not a red flag. He kisses you for a long time because it feels good and it's romantic.

Out of curiosity, what makes you concerned that that would be a red flag?

It just felt a little awkward? It’s hard to explain. Like it was our first kiss but I swear it lasted like 10 minutes. I’m so used to short intimate kisses, that it just threw me off. Is something that a lot of guys do?

It’s not a red flag, some people just really enjoy it. Of course it would be a red flag if he didn’t stop when you asked him to, but if that wasn’t the case, it’s all good, just enjoy it.
