What’s the point of men doing this?

They talk with me time to time tell me I’m attractive we should go out sometime and then it can be months and they don’t invite me. I believe men like this type always have a female they are holding onto.

I would say you are right that some guys try to hold onto one girl, while explore a different possibility. But I would also say that if this something that has happened to you more than once or twice... and that there is some type of pattern forming here. So, you might want to ask yourself what it is about you that is resulting in this pattern, because all these men can't be doing the same thing for the same reasons.

I will say this... when I say to woman that we should go out and she shows no interest in doing that then I just lose interest. I mean I have asked woman out all the time, and they if they say anything but yes, I would love to do that... then I lose interest in the texting, call or talking to them.

If it's not followed up with some conversation with the next day or two with concrete plans be made, I move on.

Exactly, if that is something you want to happen then make it happen.

I love it when I ask a woman out and she says, yes, I would love to go out with you. What would you like to do for a first date?

After a first date, I usually come out and say, I would like to do this again sometime, and she comes out and says yes, let's talk about that. Then we actually talk about it.

So, when he brings it up or make the suggestion, that is the woman's time to acknowledge it and act on it. With some type of yes, I would really like that. I mean he, as the man, has to work up the courage and then create the opportunity to actually ask you out, so acknowledging that by making it easier to make plans and actually doing something together, that is a huge deal to most men,

It's what we men, mean by a woman making herself emotionally, and physically available and willing to participate in a process. Making yourself physically available does not mean sex, it means making the time to be physically present in a potential relationship other than through text. Emotionally available, starts with her honestly expressing her desires and wish.

In that statement she is making herself emotionally and physically available. She would love to.. emotionally expressing a desire, when would be good time... making herself physically available, and willing to participate in a process.

For me, personally, there are 2 reasons that might make me bail.

1) the gal doesn't show enthusiasm when I say it. Therefore I just assume she's not interested.

2) She gets super clingy or insecure and texts me every waking second of everyday demanding to know how I am and what I am doing at every second.

That's just me. For some guys, the bottom 2 might apply as well:

1) they were saying that to make you feel better about yourself.

2) they found someone else to run off with.

Well if they talk to you from time to time then they’re really not that interested. If I’m really interested in a girl I will try to talk to her as often as I can. Chances are you’re just an option, they may have better options. Maybe it’s your personality as well when they talk to you they may pick up on something that is a turn off.
