What does it mean when someone says you have deep brown eyes?

Okay, deep brown eyes... to me I think of a woman I once dated (Emma). She had super dark brown eyes, and you could not really ever see her pupils, so it like starting into these almost black onyxes. Like starting into a dark cavern and never seeing the bottom. She was beautiful.

Then there are the ones that so bright or light blue, that their pupils seem to just float on them, like a cloud in the sky, or raft on water. You can just stare into them and lose yourself in those moments.

I date this one woman (Sylena) with hazel eyes around the outside, but the inner was a light almost tan color, and her pupils were dark... and as the tan faded into the green there was this thin rim of blue... it really gave them a 3D look and the pupils look set back deep in the eye.

Regardless it's a compliment and you should take it as such.

I thought it was more on the color, like they are very dark brown, not necessarily how they look?
