Why do guys ask girls for their instagram but they don’t even have any pictures on their page at all?

This guy from my job asked me if I had a instagram and I gave it to him and when I went to follow him back he didn’t have any pictures on his page and his profile page wasn’t him either. The guy is attractive I just don’t understand why this guy doesn’t post pictures.

Yo, who knows what's up with some guys and social media, ya know? There could be a few different explanations for why he doesn't have pics on his Instagram:

- He might be shy about posting pictures of himself even though he's good looking. Some dudes are just more private like that.

- Could be he uses Insta mainly to see other people's stuff instead of sharing his own life. A lot of guys aren't big on selfies and all that.

- Possibly he just made the account recently to try chatting with girls like you but hasn't gotten around to setting it up fully yet.

- my guess is he thinks following you is a way to slide in your DMs and try flirting without putting himself out there too much first in case you're not interested.

I wouldn't read too much into the no pics thing. If you're feeling him otherwise, maybe just chat for a bit and see where it goes? Could be he opens up more once he gets to know you better. Or maybe he's just a weirdo - you'll find out! But I say give the guy a chance before writing him off.
