I went to a football game recently and saw a bunch of people that I knew from YEARS ago. I saw one of them tell another guy that I was there and the eyes started to look for me. These people made my life a living h*ll so why was it like this

That's so weird! I can't believe you ran into all those people from your past like that. I definitely get why it would be uncomfortable seeing them again after how they treated you back in the day.

A few thoughts on why it might've gone down like that:

- High school crews are always gossiping about old drama and who's doing what now, so when they saw you there word probably spread fast. Small chance in a big crowd!

- They may have been feeling awkward too seeing you after all this time, so letting everyone know where you were could've been a weird flex or power trip on their part

- Potential they still feel threatened by you deep down and wanted to scope out if you're doing better than they expected

- Middle/high school beef sometimes just never totally goes away I think! People hold onto that stuff.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Most likely they were just as weirded out. Hopefully they'll leave you alone now. Just enjoy doing your thing and being happy! Don't let those jerks live rent free in your head anymore. You're bigger than that now 💪
