I'm talking about the edginess where I get the distinct vibe that she actively does not like me, and is looking for reasons to talk crap about me later.

Depends on the man. Some view loss of control or if she tries to outdo him in masculinity they see it as intimidation, but in reality it comes down to feeling like they aren't good enough to be around her or she would use her skill as a way to outdo him in something he may take pride in.

I hope it's the same reason I as a bisexual find them intimidated. Attractive women make be blush and make me forget how words work. I find it very hard to talk to gorgeous women.

It depends on their league. Average men are not intimidated by average women but they would by by movie stars.

The same way a guy would intimidate another guy socially - not physically. A lot of it comes down to how you want others or a specific person to see you.

A lack of confidence or a plethora of other things could cause that. I mean this generally and romantically like a crush.

I don’t. Usually but if they have sufficient rank above me it can be that way. But it’s not really intimidating more of heightened awareness of who they were. If was to say for others it’s likely where the woman has more control than the guy.
