What does it mean when a guy friend stares at you for a very long time?

I noticed that my guy friend stares at me so much on Saturday he wouldn’t stop staring at me I was wearing a dress and he wouldn’t stop staring at me it was a short dress too then we had went out to eat and kept staring at me while I was looking somewhere else but I felt his eyes on me. And kept saying what he said nothing. Then we went to go eat breakfast the next morning him and our homegirl stared at me and want it me to take a bite out of my food not sure why but they both did then we went to the beach he wouldn’t stop staring at me and when he were leaving he stare at me for a few more minutes.
