To me, it would mean that the guy might be slightly insensitive, and probably unaware that his comment caused you to wonder about what it might mean.
That doesn't necessarily make him an ogre, just a human being.

People working in certain industries will pick up the smells of those industries.
That's a normal occurrence, and nothing to be ashamed of, nor to worry about.
I usually arrived home from my pre-retirement work smelling of high-powered electrical equipment, different types of specialized oils, and massive amounts of the minerals and bacteria left behind from sweating heavily from my toils.

If the comments continue and they bother you, kindly let him know that such comments are not appreciated by you and to request that he refrain from commenting on the subject.
I put emphasis on the manner of kindly doing so.

He just might need to be made aware that such comments may be upsetting to you.

Of course, he can do what he wants going forward.
Where things go from there is up to you and him.

You either smell good like a female or else you stink like some musty nugga that can't wash that smell off no matter how much he showers... I hold my nose around that shit. Some of us humans can still smell others like a motherfucker, so I wouldn't judge it until you consider that maybe he can smell things that you just can't.

Put it like this... would you doubt that a dog smells it? Why do you doubt him smelling it? It's because your sense of smell is gone... maybe not his though. That's my opinion.

I would like to add that I can smell particular people and can even smell their feelings. I realize most others are not like me at all. I can tell where you've been, if you were stressed, turned on, and a lot of shit. If you can't do that then ask yourself if he's sort of like me or more like you.

Would also like to add that I have a fully intact Jacobsen's organ, which most don't have. I have holes under my upper lip that allow me to taste the air. You know, just like a snake does by flicking their tongue so much. If you tried to sneak an animal or a person into a room with me, I can sense where they are and what they are. As well as their feeling and stuff but that info comes from my nose. Hope all that make sense to you.

Umm who said that I couldn't smell. I have a EXCELLENT sense of smell. I can smell people even they're gone. I can also sense someone's energy, emotions and even thoughts literally. So exactly what do you mean by more like me?
