What makes a guy intimidating. In the sense you wouldn’t want to mess with them

At first glance by default without knowing anything about the person? Yeah, most definitely, obviously.

I've personally never heard of anyone being intimidated by a short guy. I've never heard anyone say "dude I can't fight him he's like 5'4!" But I have heard many people say "dude I can't fight him he's like 6'4!"

Also most bad guys in movies are usually quite big and tall. Usually so that when the underdog main character defeats him it's more rewarding rather than just defeating a really small guy.

Not to say all tall guys are intimidating. Just at a first glance. Taller people are usually stronger since they're often heavier and have longer arms and legs for more reach. But if you get to know a tall guy and he's friendly, then he's no longer intimidating, lol.

Im a fairly tall guy myself and do thing it correlates with how intimidating one can be

I also live in a ghetto-y region and no one ever tries to cross me (not yet anyhow)

i just find guys intimidating who look like they gonna lose their shit and barely keeping it together. like a look in their eye that says it all. idkk how to explain it but i can recognize it immediately when i see it bc my step-dad has it

I'm tall, (5'9"), but my boyfriend id 6'7", so next to him, even in high heels I'm not so tall, lol. I'm not intimidated in any way, he's very attractive and looks great in anything he wears.

Attitude is more intimidating. I a short guy, 5'6". I'm not intimated by most people, most people mean me no I'll. There are guys that want to fight, they give off that "I wish a MFer would" vibe. THOSE guys are intimidating, and they come in various sizes.

I remember one time an employee of mine who was taller had a bad habit of stretching in front of customers and I had to ask him to only stretch in private because I could see that some of the women were physically afraid

Simple evolutionary response. The taller guys are more intimidating. The unfortunate part is our reptilian brain still think that tallness is a proxy for other good traits and the number one PRESUMED trait associated with tallness is leadership skills according to the psychologists. Based on every boss or coach that I've ever had who was tall I can assure you that is not the case.

Tall guys are more intimidating. Source: am tall, and almost never have problems with anyone in public unless I provoke.

Also, I train at an MMA gym, so my mind just naturally sizes up everyone around me everywhere I go and I am always more wary of larger people even though I am fairly big myself, because natural size advantage is a real thing. It's why weight classes exist in all combat sports
