Do guys still wear briefs?

Question

Are you a guy that wears briefs for underwear? Some must. They still sell them in stores. Is it a big deal girls if your guy prefers them for comfort reasons?

I agree with the guy before me, I'm not a big fan of boxers or boxer briefs. I'm 27 and still wear briefs. In my junior year of high school, when boys in the locker room started to figure out that there were more underwear options out there than just Hanes or Fruit of the Loom "tighty whities", I was one of the many who attempted a switch to boxers. After wearing just boxers for a couple of weeks, I got tired of them riding up and the chafing... so like a lot of the other guys I started wearing a pair of briefs underneath my boxers. When I got to college, boxer briefs were the popular choice of my frat brothers so I tried those as well. After a few months of trying to find the best brand for my desired comfort level, I was unsuccessful. None of the brands I tried provided the support of briefs and I never really liked the feel of the extra material on my legs. I ultimately decided that I'm strictly a briefs man... and I'm totally fine with that.

Today, as a high school baseball and track coach I do a lot of running and working out and wearing briefs is just better for me all around. I don't even own a pair of boxers or boxer briefs anymore... just briefs. As well, while I'm sure some guys that wear briefs prefer a very small amount of fabric/material, I actually like the coverage and support provided by a good pair of classic full or mid-rise white briefs. I don't buy underwear often (maybe 2-3 times a year), but when I do buy underwear I tend to buy them in packages from Walmart or Target. And with as much running, working out, and sweating that I do... it's much more cost effective to just buy a multi-pack of white Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, or Stafford briefs than spend $15-20 on only 1-2 pairs of Calvin Klein or Tommy Hilfiger briefs.

Some guys still wear briefs, and 99% of the time it's because of the comfort and support they provide. My girlfriend of 3 years sometimes helps me fold and put away my laundry, and she sees me walk around the house wearing them. She asked me one day while in the middle of folding clean pairs of my white Hanes briefs why I still choose briefs over boxers/boxer briefs. When I told her why I preferred briefs, she just smiled and said she was fine with it. Apparently her younger brothers (19 and 16) both still wear white briefs as well, so she's used to seeing boys walk around the house in their tighty whities.

to me, they are turn offs...i feel like he is a little kid.. but, I am just stating my opinion.  I think boxer briefs are extra sexy and boxers are just normal :P

Underwear should be purchased on the basis of one's own personal comfort and fitting. It should not be purchased depending on the likes and dislikes of one's own partner. Personally I find briefs, comfortable and fitting. Boxers just gives me the feeling of wearing a half pant underneath a full pant and it sucks. Whereas briefs give me the feeling of wearing a proper underwear. And a man with a slim and slender physique obviously looks better and sexier in briefs than in any other kind of underwear.

Thanks to my girlfriend, I have what I refer to as the world's largest underwear collection. Every style you can think of, tighty-whities, bikinis, regular briefs of other colors, boxerbriefs, boxers, thongs, jock-straps, panties. You name it.

Also, I have different patterns ranging from the classic white boxers with the red hearts to underoos for adult men with super heroes and cartoon characters. The latter always impressive in the guy's locker room - really intimidates the other guys. (That's a joke.)

For all that, my girlfriend hates - absolutely hates - boxerbriefs. She calls them a "man's long legged panty-girddle. So I only wear them in really cold weather - because I hate cold weather. Her favorite, by contrast, is tighty-whites.

So, what girlfriend wants, girlfriend gets, and I wear mostly tighty-whities and bikini briefs, with boxers a close runner up. To me, underwear is underwear, but if it turns my girlfriend on - any means to an end.

Boxers all the way... Basically a comfy thin pair of shorts... Briefs hug to much I hate the way they look.. Remind me of gay men for some reason so I stay away from em and girl's don't care what guys wear just as much as guys don't care what girls wear.. In the end it comes off any way.

I started wearing briefs again recently. My new girlfriend actually likes them. She likes boxer briefs too, hates boxer shorts, but it's fair to say when she's bought me more briefs, without me even asking... they must be liked by her! And that's what matters to me!

I wear both briefs and boxer briefs depends, if in out I wear boxer briefs as they do look better but if I'm home just relaxing I'll wear briefs as they're more comfortable. In this day and age who cares what underwear you wear as long as it's not inappropriate.

I am a guy and I always wear briefs for underwear. Some people joke that boxer briefs are the best of both worlds, but I have always thought they are actually the worst. :P
Yeah, I think briefs are more masculine and adapt better to the male form.

I've always worn briefs. Tried boxer & boxerbriefs, dont like the way my bits feel in them. Had to keep adjusing myself. Most of the men i know wear boxers or boxerbriefs, but i like wearing briefs. I dont care. None of my pass girlfriends never complained, but then again, i dont buy cheap underwear.
