Why did my etc call me a weirdo for this reason?

Basically me and ex still work together and have been broken up since Feb, we tried to be friends but the whole time he just made me feel crap and would say things like I’m dumb (which when I said I didn’t like it his response was I say that to everyone), he would say I’m nothing special and so on. So I told him I no longer wanted to be friends (around 2 weeks ago and we haven’t spoken at all since) Well today he called me a weirdo today cause I told him to not tell me to come on when we don’t even talk, (I was down an aisle getting something and he was getting a pallet, and then I said he could go through and he said come on. But our manager was joking around saying like hurry up, skip skip and he said how our manager said it in a dickhead way to me but yet I didn’t say anything and I just laughed and I said that’s because me and our manager talk)

Just don’t get why his being that way. I wasn’t hurt by it but I just don’t understand how me telling him to not tell me to come on when we don’t even talk makes me a weirdo..

Given his history there is really no reason why there should be ANY confusion, I mean he’s always talked down on you and been a jerk, you thought that would change because you broke up? Nope, those actions are just who he is as a person, it wasn’t exclusive to being his girlfriend.

Yeah that’s honestly so true, it definitely sucks though :( honestly we haven’t spoken in like 2 weeks and then he decides to say come on and then cause I pulled him up on it and said not to say it especially as we don’t talk, he called me a weirdo. Honestly not sure how it makes me weird 😂🙈 sometimes they do stuff to get us to react and then we get the blame for it.. I hope your okay though.
