Can the dudes answer this?

For context, I have a friend who I’ve known for years, and we live in the same neighborhood. However, he rarely talks to me. He is active and friendly with everyone else, but not with me. The only time we had an active conversation was when I was in the hospital, and he asked why I wouldn’t have sex with him after I told him six times that it was because I would like to be married first. He then ghosted me for my entire freshman year of college.

I had a huge crush on a guy who went to a different college. After my friends and I found out that he had a girlfriend, my neighbor suddenly started sending me streaks on Snapchat after months of little communication. He rarely responds to my texts, even though I just want to have a casual conversation—nothing romantic or sexual.

My question is: why do some guys have streaks with girls they barely talk to or interact with?
