Why did a new coworker (he’s leaving the job soon) vent about his ex and new prospect to me but he doesn’t even say bye to me?

It’s ok. He’s leaving the job soon so thankfully I won’t have to see him ever again. learned my lesson don’t put energy or trust a random guy again because they never are truly interested in building a friendship or relationship.
