How would you take if a man that supposedly have feelings for you and you have feelings for them tells you "ummmmm I wouldn't say that" after asking him if he was attracted to a particular female?

So were you asking in hopes that he’d say you? If you were he may have took it as other women he may be attracted to outside of you. Especially if he knows that you know he likes you. There’d be no reason to say “you” cause you already know. That’s how I’m would take it. But when I read it, it made me think you were asking specific types of chicks. Like am I into goth chicks, Asian women, etc. By him answering what he did, I’d think he likes whatever catches his eyes. Nothing in particular as far as what he really gravitates toward. He could have also been saying no to you indirectly that he’s not attracted to you.

I made it perfectly clear that he had feelings for me. I said that I had feelings for him and he had feelings for me. And no I said a "particular female" it's none of your business who but he knows who because I said her name to him.

Yeah, that's not the type of question to ask a man. It's one of those questions like when a woman asks her guy if she looks fat in a 👗 dress she's wearing.
Guys just don't like to answer those questions because they don't know what the correct answer is that you want to hear and they don't want to lie, so...

Well when someone is kissing you on the mouth it's my business. Because you're not about to be kissing me if you're attracted to someone else as well.
