I live in Thailand. Not by choice, but by accident.

I am somewhat excited - the local ladies (in a declining tendency) are (usually) nice to look at and have not (yet) forgotten their feminine values and attributes.

Anyhow - Asian cultures also often are ignorant of the larger world picture (or disinterested in it) and tend to be absorptive rather than cooperative. This can be a little draining over time.

I do benefit from their presumptive view of ''Westerners'', though. (I am kind of white, although my tan now is rather a mix of beige and copper)

Some two decades of living among them made me ''open'' to them - but not exclusively so.
