It can be from a distance or even when talking, it’s like an attentive and deep eye gaze. It’s been happening a number of months now.

He may have subconscious developed feelings for you. It happened to me once. I knew I found this one girl attractive, but I had actually had growing feelings as I saw her more and more. It was the first time I really developed any feelings for anyone, so I didn't recognize until it was too late.
